Alice Faye Romriell Robinson
May 30, 1947 – July 8, 2026
Alice Faye Romriell Robinson, 79, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, following a
brief illness. She has left this world to be joyfully reunited with her soulmate and beloved
husband, Bruce Robinson.
Born on May 30, 1947, in Pocatello, Idaho, Alice was the eldest of eight children born to
Earnie and Marva Romriell. From a youthful age, she embraced her role as a natural
leader and caregiver, qualities that defined her entire life. Alice was blessed with two
sons, Thomas Ralph Sleight and Travis Shane Sleight, whom she raised with dedication
and unconditional love.
Alice's life took a beautiful turn when she relocated to Oklahoma City and met the true
love of her life, Bruce Robinson. They wed in 1991 and made their home in Stigler,
Oklahoma. Together, they lived life to the absolute fullest, sharing a passion for the
great outdoors, thrilling motorcycle rides, jeep trails, and sunny days spent boating.
Though Bruce passed away in 2001, the love they shared remained Alice's anchor for
the rest of her days.
Alice later moved to Murray, Utah, where she successfully channeled her sharp mind
and caring nature into a career as a Medicare insurance sales agent. Beyond her work,
Alice was a woman of vast creativity and vibrant energy. She was an extraordinarily
talented painter, capturing beauty on canvas just as she did in life.
Alice loved camping with family and was an active, proud member of TOPS, where she
leaves behind many dear friends. An avid animal lover, her days were constantly
brightened by her devoted dogs, Tinker, Gizmo, and Nicki, who brought her endless joy
and companionship.
Alice spent the remainder of her years living back in her hometown of Pocatello, Idaho.
Returning to her roots brought her immense happiness, as it allowed her to spend her
final years doting on, and loving her cherished nieces and nephews. To her family, Alice
was the heartbeat of every gathering—remembered forever as the fun, deeply playful
aunt who could always bring a smile to those she loved most.
Alice was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Earnie and Marva Romriell; her
cherished husband, Bruce Robinson; her brothers, Delmer and Gary Romriell; and her
brothers-in-law, Bob Sweat and Larry Smith.
Her legacy of love lives on through her surviving family: Sons: Tom Sleight (Dawn) and
Travis Shane Sleight, all of Salt Lake City, UT. Grandchildren: Preston, Bradley,
Cassie, Jade, and Devan. Great-Grandchildren: Micah, Stella, Atlas, and Zaige.
Siblings: Carol Sweat (Pocatello, ID), Barbara Yayha (Oklahoma), Gail Smith
(Pocatello, ID), Mark Romriell and Earline Romriell (Pocatello ID), and Teresa and Bob
(Reno, NV). Sister-in-law: Bobbie Romriell (Oklahoma). Extended Family: A large,
loving circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Alice will be returned to the rolling
hills of Oklahoma, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Bruce, together
again forever.
