Virginia Bell

Virginia Mae "Ginny" Bell passed away surrounded by compassionate care, leaving behind a family

who loved her dearly and will forever cherish her memory.

Ginny spent her early childhood in Rupert, Idaho, before moving to Burley, Idaho, at the age of

seven. Burley became her lifelong home, where she built a life centered on family, hard work, and

the people she loved.

Ginny had a special love for animals throughout her life. Horses held a special place in her heart,

and although she often joked that she was not the best rider, that never stopped her from enjoying

every opportunity to ride. She also loved cats and dogs and always shared her home with beloved

pets.

Ginny was first married to Scott Laws. Together they welcomed two children, Clellie Mae Laws in

1981 and Cody J. Laws in 1984. Later, she married Dorrell Bell. The loss of Dorrell in 2007 deeply

affected her, and she never remarried.

Family was the most important thing in Ginny's life. She loved spending time with her sisters, Clellie,

Becky, and Merri. She especially enjoyed family gatherings in Albion, helping brand cattle and

creating memories with loved ones. Weekends often found her listening to music, particularly Pat

Benatar's Hit Me With Your Best Shot. Those who knew Ginny well would agree that if she had a

theme song, that would have been it.

Ginny worked at Ore-Ida for much of her adult life before becoming disabled. She worked hard every

day while raising her two children, providing the best life she could through her dedication,

determination, and unwavering love.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Portneuf Medical Center. Their

professionalism, compassion, and dedication provided comfort and care during Ginny's final days.

The family is especially thankful for the extraordinary efforts made to locate her children so they

could be with her during her final moments. The family would also like to thank the missionaries who

came to the hospital to bless her before her passing, as well as her friends who brought comfort and

support in her final days.

Ginny is survived by her daughter, Clellie Laws; her son, Cody Laws; her brother, Robert Graf; her

sisters, Clellie Jolley and Merri Reed; her grandson, Tre Caldwell; her granddaughters, Tasheen

Laws and Keylee Laws; and her grandson, Kai Laws.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Graf; her mother, Virginia Chesley; her husband,

Dorrell Bell; her sister, Becky Moats; her brothers, Verl Graf and Tony Jolley; and her nephews, Brett

Kloar and Aaron Goodman.

Ginny will be remembered for her strength, her love of family, her devotion to animals, her sense of

humor, and her ability to keep going through life's challenges. Her memory will live on in the hearts

of all who knew and loved her.
